Snakes And Winter Feeding
Its that time a year again with the cold weather setting in and the dark nights. Most people with sub adult & adult snakes will be experiencing there snake knocking off feeding and turning there nose up at it. Also there feeding patterns becoming irregular, I have a snake that does this every winter. She's finicky and it happens. I can remember when it first happened and it freaked me out so much.

Where to begin with her. She's my Mexican Black Kingsnake. Always wanted one and finally did pick one up when I was at the Columbia show this past November. She wasn't always a finicky eater. Would pound down pinkies like the rest of them.

Eat Snake Eat!
Seriously not enjoying the Kings lack of want for food. She's been off for 18 days and I'm happily wasting pinkies on her. Going to try braining soon. Maybe a corn scented live one. We;ll see, all I know is I don't like them not eating.
