Snakes And Winter Feeding

Its that time a year again with the cold weather setting in and the dark nights. Most people with sub adult & adult snakes will be experiencing there snake knocking off feeding and turning there nose up at it. Also there feeding patterns becoming irregular, I have a snake that does this every winter. She's finicky and it happens. I can remember when it first happened and it freaked me out so much.

Snakes normally go off feed in the wild around this time of year. So relax, don't fret. As long as they are not losing body weight then it's fine. Just don't offer food for a month but keep plenty of water available. They will eventually eat.
